Before the sun goes down, it starts to cast a beautiful golden glow on everything. As I sat watching the birds, this Whimbrel flew by drying off its feet and the sun lit up its chest and underbelly. I call it Foot Drying 101 which seems unrelated but if you look closely the feet are in sharp focus with little water droplets flying off.
