Description
This beautiful female Mallard Duck was standing on a small rock in a pond while the golden light of the morning sun shone its spotlight on her.
What I realized when I saw her standing there is that I need to stop and enjoy what otherwise would seem ordinary (a plentiful species of duck rather than simply going on auto-pilot to find something more rare) and appreciate its beauty. Had I gone with my original urge to ignore it, I would have completely missed capturing this beautiful moment in time.
